Michelle Huget was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta.  She completed medical school at the University of Alberta where she developed and interest in Women’s Health and Obstetrics, and has maintained this passion since.  She completed the Family Medicine program through the University of Alberta, based at the Westview site. This program, located outside of Edmonton, served a mixed population of suburban, rural farming, and nearby First Nations communities. Since she has provided full scope family practice as a locum, including inpatient and maternity care, through various communities in rural Alberta and the NWT.  She is excited to continue her journey with St. Paul’s Maternity. During her locum adventures she has enjoyed hiking everywhere from the Rockies to the Land of the Midnight Sun, and is planning on adding some coastal trails to the list.  Otherwise she relaxes tending to her plants, and caring for one spoiled feline fur-baby.
